I really did not know much about laser hair removal, but after a girlfriend in another metro area mentioned she was trying it out, I figured I would look into it, too. After reading a few reviews, Capital Laser seemed like it would be a good fit - it was easy to book online, is close to the metro, and offered a consultation to get started. Now, just a few sessions in, I can't believe that I waited this long to go there! I have had such a positive experience with Sue. She is friendly, kind, and definitely knows what she is doing. My results have been wonderful - I couldn't be happier. I feel so fortunate to have found Capital Laser and have been encouraging all of my friends to go, too!

I have nothing but great things to say about Capital Laser! I have had both Sue and Liz and they are AMAZING at their job! I've been six times now and each time I am in and out in under 20 minutes. They make the process so easy and are very kind and professional. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

If you are looking for great service at a very reasonable price, this is the place to go. I have dealt with ingrowns and razor burn, and thought about doing laser for years. I have had great results and everyone here is professional and qualified.

I don't understand why Google is deleting my reviews. I don't usually post reviews, but felt compelled to do so following my experience with Capital Laser and Sue. Several years ago, I decided to try laser hair removal as a result of a thick beard and unsightly ingrown hairs on my face. Shaving was difficult, and not shaving wasn't an option given the need to look professional for work and graduate level study purposes. Within a couple or few hours of shaving, I would suffer from unsightly razor burn, which would only get worse as the day wore on and especially during the hot, humid summer months DC is known for. I exhausted every option -- all the lotions, creams, shaving devices, exfoliating, visits to dermatologists, EVERYTHING -- before settling on laser hair removal. Before trying Capital Laser, I initially was undergoing treatment at a physician's office. He estimated that I would need about four to five treatments, but over eight to ten treatments later, all I had to show for the time and money were numerous patches / stripes of hair on my face (bizarre looking if I went one day without shaving) and some small scars from the blisters received from the treatments. Following a treatment (always scheduled for a Friday), I would not leave my house all weekend due to the puffiness of my face and possibly some blisters. I almost gave up. My situation was honestly worse than before trying laser. After realizing that I had to try someplace else in order to treat at least some of the remaining patches and stripes of hair on my cheeks and chin area, I found Capital Laser. I was extremely hesitant at first, but between Sue's confidence that she could help me and with her encouragement, I agreed to try at least one session. After a single session, I was sold! I have completed treatment with Sue and pop into her office a couple of times a year now for maintenance (hormones don't stop). The results are incredible! Not only is my skin clear, but following any treatment I could go to work and even out that same evening with friends. Aside from a slight pinkness that subsides after about 20 minutes following treatment, you cannot tell I had any procedure done earlier that day. No blisters, no puffiness, and the patches and stripes are gone. Sue's office is clean, welcoming, the prices are fair, and both she and her staff have been extremely kind and sympathetic to the situation. The experience and response to the treatments I have thus far with Capital Laser is the experience and response I was hoping for/expecting when I first decided to try laser hair removal to deal with my ingrown hairs. Sue clearly is an expert at what she is doing (as you will come to learn after a consultation with her and from the many certificates on her wall) and I am so very grateful to her for her help. Life changing. If you're considering laser hair removal, I don't think it can get any better than this...

I was skeptical of getting laser hair removal at first because I was worried about it not being effective or causing burns. But I went in for a free consultation, and Sue was so professional. She answered all of my questions, was honest and upfront with me, and did not try to push me to get anything done. After the consultation, I felt comfortable doing the laser hair removal and I'm SO GLAD I did. The procedure was quick and painless, I was out in less than 30 minutes, and I don't have to shave anymore! It took about 2 weeks for the dead hairs to fall out and they haven't grown back since. 5/5 would recommend.

Incredible customer service and laser treatment. They are very accommodating and truly care about the customer. Liz helped me and it couldn’t have been any better! Super knowledgeable and such a hard worker! Prices are also great. Location is right off the metro too! Definitely recommend to anyone considering laser hair removal treatments. Was very, VERY impressed.

I’ve had a great experience with Capital Laser. My first consultation was quick and informative, and everyone I’ve spoken to has been very friendly and helpful. The offices are simple and clean, and I felt very comfortable while getting my treatment. When I was unable to get to an appointment because of travel delays they were very understanding.
