I first became a client when I was living in NC (5 hours away). I would schedule an appt when in town for meetings and found equipment and knowledge of both Sue and Liz unmatched. I was thrilled to move back to the area and expand my treatment areas. Sue is hands down the most educated and passionate laser hair removal expert in the area. I was badly burned at another local reputable spa and Sue offered comfort through thorough explanation of what had happened to me. Additionally, her integrity was made clear when I asked her if she would continue treating the area and she declined due to my personal safety. I had gotten laser hair removal done in Florida a few years ago and had minimal results so I was very picky when choosing a place here in the DMV area. Both Liz and Sue are very friendly and make you feel comfortable. I came in to address just one body part, but now I have began the process of 2 additional laser packages. The results were noticeable after the second session and just continued to get better after each one. Not only has my hair stopped growing, the scarring that I had initially is almost completely gone! I am so happy that I was able to find such a great place.

Capital Laser was extremely professional, friendly, and effective when it came to my laser hair removal treatments. I've been to a few places for laser hair removal and would highly recommend Capital Laser. The treatments have had AMAZING results! The new office is conveniently located, very nicely done, and well maintained. Be flexible with timing - sometimes they can run behind depending on the client before you.

Sue is so sweet and knowledgeable about the process - she doesn't try to sell you on it, she just gives you the facts and lets you decide if it's a right fit for you. She was very patient, answered all of my questions, and made me feel at ease. I got my ankles/lower legs done and it didn't hurt at all. It was super quick (I was in and out in less than 20 minutes) and it's been about two weeks and already can see the difference. I'm going to go back for another treatment to get the rest of my leg done.

I had such a wonderful experience with Capital Laser Hair Removal. I highly recommend them. Especially if it is your first time trying laser hair removal. Sue and Liz were both extremely kind, respectful, and always exhibited the highest level of professionalism. I had never really had any cosmetic procedure done in the past, so I was a bit apprehensive, but Sue and Liz did a great job of putting my mind at ease. The office themselves are actually quite beautiful-- very modern and clean. I also want to mention that as a trans woman, going into cosmetic procedures like this can be pretty anxiety-inducing, but I could not have felt more comfortable each time I had a session. I have no doubts whatsoever that this would be the case for any member of the LGBTQIA+ community:). Regarding the treatments I received: I purchased a package of five sessions for my face as well as the front of my neck. The results were pretty amazing! Although I still shave daily, it is so much easier to do so, and I really don't even get a 5 o'clock shadow anymore. I still have a few stubborn hairs, and since I want them all gone I will probably do electrolysis somewhere to finish things up, but I will definitely go back to Capital Laser for other parts of my body in the future(when I can afford it, at least)! I think there are somewhat cheaper options out there, and maybe those are acceptable, but if you really want a great experience, awesome results, and peace of mind, it's worth it to go here.
