Wow- even if I tried, I couldn’t come up with enough praises for Capital Laser. I first attempted laser hair removal when I was in high school back in California. As someone of Middle Eastern descent, I have incredibly dark hair, which consequently led me to become self-conscious about both the amount of hair I had and its overall noticeability. However, the first laser center I went to ultimately proved to be ineffective, so when I first decided to give Capital Laser a try, I was a bit skeptical at first. However, the experience was so incredible and so far exceeded my expectations that I wish I weren’t moving out of the area soon, because I would definitely return to have Sue and Liz laser the rest of my problem areas! I went in for my first session in December (chin and upper lip), and by the next scheduled appointment in January, I already noticed a dramatic reduction in my hair growth and appearance. By the third session, the dark hairs that lined my entire chin were all gone, and the fourth and fifth sessions were almost unnecessary because of how ridiculously minimal the hair growth had become by that point. As someone who had to pluck her chin on an almost daily basis (which would cause bruising to the skin, thereby only making me more dissatisfied with my facial appearance) and get her upper lip waxed at least once a month, the work done by Sue and Liz at Capital Laser was absolutely instrumental in restoring my self-confidence about my face; no longer do I look away when talking to someone or try to draw attention away from my smile! Beyond the impeccable quality of the service Capital Laser provides, they are also transparent and honest with each and very client who walks through the door. When I sat down with Sue for my consultation, she informed me that she doesn’t treat anyone who doesn’t have hair that is thick or dark enough because she wants people to be able to walk away from the experience with successful results. Both Liz and Sue were also so kind, attentive, thorough, helpful, and engaging, and I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to have them take care of me. Each session was fast, easy, and almost painless, and they always know the correct setting to ensure that the laser doesn't damage or burn your skin. I would recommend Capital Laser to anyone seeking to ensure that their unwanted hair will be completely removed. Thank you, Sue and Liz- you guys are truly the best out there!

I normally don't write reviews but since I have been dealing with laser hair removal for more than 7 years now, and I have always been frustrated with results and pain, I must say that Capital Laser IS THE PLACE TO GO! Sue is absolutely amazing. She is knowledgeable and honest. She would actually refuse to touch body parts (such as shoulders for females) as laser stimulates hair growth in this area. I wish I had someone honest like her to advice me since the beginning of my laser journey! staff is also amazing 🙂 5/5

This place is absolutely wonderful. Professional, friendly, clean office, and the newest technology. The have frequent discounts, so there is no reason to cheap out on a shady Groupon deal for some other place. These ladies are experts and the results are fantastic. Look at all the other amazing reviews and book an appointment-you won't regret it.

I don't usually post reviews, but felt compelled to do so following my experience with Capital Laser and Sue. A few years ago, I decided to try laser hair removal as a result of a thick beard and unsightly ingrown hairs on my face. Shaving was difficult, and not shaving wasn't an option given the need to look professional for work and graduate level study purposes. I tried every product, every shaving trick, etc. Before trying Capital Laser, I initially was undergoing treatment at a Doctor's office. He estimated that I would need about four to five treatments (completely incorrect!), but over eight treatments later, all I had to show for the time and money were numerous patches and stripes of hair on my face (bizarre looking if I went one day without shaving) and some small scars from the blisters received from the treatments. Following a treatment (always scheduled for a Friday), I would not leave my house all weekend due to the puffiness of my face and possibly some blisters. I almost gave up. After realizing that I had to try someplace else in order to treat at least some of the remaining patches and stripes of hair on my cheeks and chin area, I found Capital Laser. I was nervous, scared, skeptical -- you name it, but Sue took the time to consult with me and practically begged me to let her help. I am so glad I listened. I've completed the full set of treatments initially purchased. The hair growth on my face and neck is 90% gone. My skin looks amazing and surprisingly, even a touch bit younger! And the best part: no more ingrown hairs! I still visit Sue once in a while for a touch-up appointment. In fact, I've since relocated to Boston from DC and I schedule my appointments when I am in DC visiting friends or for work, etc, as I will absolutely not let anyone else perform laser on my face. Following treatments with Sue, I can go to work and even out that same evening with friends. Aside from a slight pinkness that subsides after about 20 minutes following treatment, you cannot tell I had any procedure done earlier that day! No blisters, no puffiness, etc! Sue's office is clean, welcoming, the prices are fair, and both she and her staff have been extremely kind and sympathetic to my situation. The experience and response to the treatments I have thus far with Capital Laser is the experience and response I was hoping for/expecting when I first decided to try laser hair removal to deal with my ingrown hairs years ago. Sue clearly is an expert at what she is doing (as you will come to learn after a consultation with her and from the many certificates on her wall) and I am so very grateful to her for her help. If you're considering laser hair removal, I don't think it can get any better than this...

Sue is amazing! She has an unbelievable amount of experience, which made me feel very comfortable. During my consultation, she gave a thorough explanation of the laser hair removal process and what results to expect. The actual sessions were super efficient and very effective. My results have been great, and (all things considering) the pain was minimal! I definitely recommend using Capital Laser.
