Just finished my 3rd session here. I wanted to wait after a few sessions to share my honest review. I am someone who has super sensitive skin, and absolutely zero pain tolerance! I would put numbing cream, take ibuprofen before waxes and pain was still a 8/10. I decided to switch over to laser because my ingrowns were becoming bad and cystic and started getting ugly hyperpigmentation. I searched all over for a place that had great reviews and came across capital laser. I can easily say this was the best choice ever. Sue and Anias were super friendly and welcoming and answered any questions that I had. I guess I am one of the few where I still feel pain from the laser, but Sue is extremely patient and quick! And Anias is just as comforting. I loved my results with laser as I didn’t have to go back for about 6 weeks and was left hairless way longer than waxing. Also my ingrowns are no more and my hyperpigmentation is fading! This place is great, and Sue and Anais friendliness and customer service is top tier which makes overall the experience way better. If you’re considering laser, check them out first!

This is my second visit to Sue and I'm definitely impressed. I was originally considering going to the LaserAway and Milan franchises but Sue's customer service was exceptional during the consultation and first treatment that I was sold. I'm back for my second treatment and the hair has barely regrown. I'm a black woman with very dark skin so I was excited to know she not only has the correct laser to use for my skintone but also has over 2 decades of experience working with people of all skintones. Only very small issue I have is the parking. I drive because it's more convenient for me. But the metro is right next to the place so it's super convenient for people who use that option. For drivers there is also a parking garage but I prefer street parking since my appointments are very short. There is some parking spaces on Fort Myer but get to your appointment early if you want to utilize the limited spaces.

I’ve had a great experience with Sue. As someone with darker skin she showcased a lot of experience and knowledge on working with a variety of skin colors and types. I would definitely recommend getting laser hair removal here!

I've had two sessions with Sue so far and I've had a really good experience! The free consultation was very helpful and Sue took the time to explain the process and manage expectations. I would highly recommend doing the consultation first before diving straight into sessions, as Sue provides really useful information such as the workings of the laser hair removal process, what the process would be like, hair growth cycles, how your respective skin tone and hair type would respond to the treatment etc. I have olive brown skin with dark hair and Capital Laser uses ND:YAG lasers which is effective for my skin type. The packages are well priced for the services and Sue has a wealth of experience, having been involved in laser hair removal for 20+ years. My sessions with her are efficient, professional and great! Although I have only been in for 2 sessions, I have seen a significant reduction in hair growth. Lastly, the clinic is clean and well-maintained!

Sue is friendly, professional, and thorough. She explains the process well and always makes me feel comfortable. The facilities are also immaculately clean!

I have always been scared of getting laser but Sue has been absolutely incredible! She has been doing this for 23 years and is a complete expert, I expressed that I was wary of the pain and she was extremely accommodating and I felt no pain. I would recommend her to anyone that has been hesitant to try laser, she will take complete care of you.

Very thorough consultation; followed by initial chin session w good results thus far. Not painful, more so very hot heat pulses to your skin. Will continue to come here for all sessions.

Sue is very friendly and ensures you are fully aware of the process and what to expect for results. Sue is very transparent about everything and clearly takes pride in her work. The results have been amazing and exceed my expectations. Highly recommend !

I have had two sessions so far (one with Sue and one with Anais). Sue is efficient and quick but the laser hair removal was painful for me in several areas. I have a low pain tolerance so I tried my second session with Anais. She was extremely accommodating and the laser hair removal was NOT PAINFUL. Anais let have me have some breaks and took her time with the areas. She is also very welcoming and made me feel comfortable. If you also have a low pain tolerance I highly recommend Anais. The results were excellent.

Definitely recommend Capital Laser! This is my second round of laser hair removal and Sue is an expert at her craft! She is familiar with different types of skin. As a Black woman, I’ve been really particular about who I go to for laser treatments because I’ve heard about some bad experiences. Sue has many years of experience. She even recognized one time I had been in the sun too much and asked me to come back in a few weeks (I feel like many places would not care enough to do that).
